So incredibly rude staffed. I contacted at 3pm via the number supplied online to simply ask if they sold gift cards on site. The person I spoke to was quite rude, telling me I'd called the after hours number and refused to answer my question. Despite it only being 3pm and the website stating they are open until 5:30pm. If the number redirects to a personal number then that's actually on you guys to sort out! I was hopeful and excited to purchase a gift card as a chistmas gift but not now. I understand the frustration getting a call when you're not at work but that's certainly not MY fault and I definitely didn't deserve to be spoken to the way I was.
TLDR: excellent location, good value for money.
Very kids friendly with a number of included activities and facilities (free hire of basketball, tennis rackets, etc). Excellent and well presented cabins - perfect TV reception, Foxtel, a DVD player, far better than one could expect in most motels.
We loved the location, if you don't mind longer walks (and we love them) it takes 30-35 mins to walk to the beautiful Aldinga with its amazing food and beer.
The only negative observation we all had is that everything is in a state of slight disrepair. The mini golf course could use a touch of paint, the door latch is barely hanging by one screw, the tennis rackets have seen much better days..
Overall we have enjoyed our stay and will likely be back. Recommended.
Great location. Hired a cabin was meant to be 5 birth but only 3 beds, one queen and 2 singles. The single mattresses are so warn and old, sunken in, very uncomfortable. On metal frames, which creaked every little movement, needs new beds! The rest of the cabin was great and modern, WiFi, foxtel and heating and cooling with ceiling fans in main and living are. Water pressure is not great. Also, mini golf was closed for upgrades, and there was no mention of this when we called before booking or on the website.
The sofas are very dirty. It was panic to sit on them (no22). Bring your own white sheet to use sofa. Preferably bring your own towel too. Test everything is beautiful
Everything was great but there was no footpath or bike path to the beach, foreshore or shops.
Stayed for 3 nights in one of the little Oz Shacks just to switch off for a few days. It was very cute and cosy, and surprisingly really warm. The staff were amazing and very helpful. It was exactly what I needed and will definitely make another booking to stay in summer.
Great little caravan park that was super secure and plenty of activities available for the kids. Will try and be back every year!
Wow we stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bed room cabin. The place was very clean and the beds were so comfy. There is so much to do here for the kids. My daughter didn't want to leave. Very nice caravan park, will definitely be back!
